I´m sad to say it but I decided to close this blog. I was thinking about it for a long time. I always wanted to make it easier to read my blog so I did this one in english. But it´s hard to keep two blogs up to date and this blog hasn´t that many visitors.
I would be very happy if you still like to read about me on my "main" blog. I know it´s german but I added a google-translation tool. I don´t like to keep it bi-langual because I think that´s hard to read in my oppinion. And I would also be happy if those of you that have linked this blog now will link to my other blog!

Girl

As I mentioned in my last post I had an unfinished card on my desk. Now it´s done and I can show it. It´s an Elzybells-image that I have for a while and finally used it.

The sentiment is by Elzybells too and I think it fits perfect! :o)

And like I wanted I have done another LO. I still done like to do "straight" LOs son I choose the stamp-looking paper. It´s a picture of me when I was 4 years old and the LO talks about that often peaople thought that I was a boy when I was a child. I had short hair most of the time. ButI love this pic because it shows that I´m definatly a girl! ;o)

I used grungeboard for the wings and coloured it with acylic paint and glittered it. I just love doing girly stuff! :D

I´m going to spend the weekend with my inlaws in Düsseldorf. Tomorrow there will a Stampin´Up!-workshop and if possible I want to visit a nearby stampin- & scrapping-shop. I love to see the stuff irl. And it´s hard to have nothing nearby! I´m sure I´ll have a fun weekend! Hope yours will be great too! - ~*Coni*~

More Pink Cat Studio

I did another card with those cute Lily & Billy-stamps by Pink Cat Studio. And I used the paperscraps that where still left on my desk for the winterbox. I just love that I didn´t have to clean the desk and instead create something new! ;o)

I still love to work with pale-pink, pale-blue and brown. And I still love glitter and flowers! Looks like I´m still a girl! *wink*

Right now I have another unfinished card on my desk and I hope to finish it today. Next I want to do a LO again. I´m way behind my goal to do two LOs a week. It´s time to get back on track!

Stampin´Up!-cards and Winter-Box

Last saturday has been a Kick off-Event for the german Stampin´Up!-Demos. It was really great and I had a lot of fun! The demos did a card swap so I did 3x 10 cards to swap with the others. Here´s waht I did:

I changed almost all my cards and got rellay great cards from the others! Now I have some different examples for my guests to show! The whole event was inspiring and I´m looking forward to my next workshop next weekend.

Yesterday I did this box. After several days where I didn´t find the time to do anything creative I decided it was time to change this. So after the cleaning was done I let all the other stuff that had to be done undone and created.

I like the colour-combination and the glitter. :o) It makes my heart happy! And that´s what I needed! I was in pain for the last weeks again and there was so much on the calendar. I really try to stay positive but with pains all day long and the dizziness of the pain-reliever it´s sometimes hard. I´m just tired and feel overwealmed all the time... Ok, but let´s stop venting and try to be positive and healthy again!

Winter fun

I was surfing through serveral creative blogs when I found images that I fell in love with immidiatly. I was so lucky that there was a hint that the cute image was made by "Pink Cat Studio". So I went there and ordered right away. Just one week later I got my stamps from Canda! *yeah* The shop-service was just awesome too! I couldn´t resist to make a card with one of the stamps right away. ;o)

I wanted to add some more dimension so I didn´t clue the complete swirls down and used some chipboards:

Since I didn´t feel that well I haven´t done much creative stuff last weekend.I just hope to feel better really soon! I hate to not being able to do what I want! :*(

Last weekend Andi and I baked some cupcakes and cookies. We never before tried to put some icing to cake ourselves! But we had lots of fun and enjoyed to do it! Here´s what we did:

When we were finished I wanted to do a small bag for a freind to give cookies too. We just recieved new stamps for the Stempelzoo and I wanted to use them. They were from CC Stamps and we got them as a new addition to the shop. I was in love when I saw the little angels at once. So I choose one of them and did this:

First I didn´t know who to give it too but now I know! And I guess she´ll like it: she loves cookies, pink and CC stamps! :D

Reindeer-Trekking

Andi, my sister Carola and I went to met some reindeers last saturday. We had a date with them to go for a walk. Andi and I got coupons for it and he was so excited to actually see the animals and spend the afternoon with them! And I have to admit: it was AWESOME! The weather was great and even though it was cold we weren´t freezing. The walk through the forest kept us warm. ;o) And aren´t reindeers beautiful?

Just look at these dark eyes! *lol*

Every reindeer was led by two of us. They are pretty strong and you´ll never know what they´ll do next so this is the safest way.

As a scrapbooker I took lots of pictures! ;o) And of corse I needed a pic of Andi, me and a reindeer. Unfortunatly I haven´t one with the three of us (including my sister). What you don´t see on the next pic is that the reindeer stood with one of his legs on my foot! I´m so glad that doesn´t hurt. It´s not like it would be when a horse does it!

We really had tons of fun and I´m already looking forward to scrap those pics!

I have been creative lately - not as much as I would have loved to be but I got some stuff done. :o) First I did a LO about my still favorite subject Andi! I´m just so happy to have him in my life! So I try to celebrate it in my scrapbooks too.

Here´s a close-up:

I love shaped LOs at the moment. I found this shape in the internet and loved it at once. So I asked Andi if he could do it for me so I could cut it with my Cricut. And he surely did! :o) And I used my new Martha Steward border-punch again. I just love the look of it!

Since I took down all the christmas-decorations I wanted to do something romantic. So I bought some stuff and decorated our home in a new way. It was so much fun. I think I had forgotten how much I love to decorate our home! Here is something I did:

I think the green berries look like they have ice on them so it still looks like winter. ;o) For my desk I found this beautiful frame at IKEA. When I saw it I new I wanted to put a decorated picture of our wedding inside.

Yes, I used my Martha Stewart pounch again. *lol* And I just love this pic! We both laugh while we are on our way and I think this is like it should be: walking happy together in our lifes. :D

Last saturday I went to a sewing workshop again. The theme was "Purses" and I sew this shoulderbag:

It´s about 17 inches wide and rellay works well for all thr stuff I always carry with me. The pattern, the fabric and the ribbon too are "Tilda". I´m still a big fan of this stuff!

And before I finally close this post for today I´ll introduce you to Curtis:

Andi sew this little guy for me. Isn´t he adorable? All I had to do was the nose. But that´s nothing to the sewing my lovely dh did! How can I NOT love this wonderful man???

Romantic stuff

Don´t ask me why but at the moment I like to do things that have a romantic touch. Just creating them makes me happy and I like the results so I guess I´m going to do more of it! *lol*

Another thing I did was a card for a swap. The theme was snowman. Before I joined the swap I wanted to try my idea. I didn´t wanted to join and then don´t have something I like. It took some time but after a while I was satisfied with my card and signed in. :o) Here it is:

Happy Mail

A few minutes ago the doorbell rang and the postman brought a great surprise! It was a package from my dear friend Joy from the States! She just send it a few days ago and it´s already here! *woohoo* It came just perfect because I have a big cold since yesterday and don´t feel well. But now I´m feeling better! *lol* Here´s what she send:

Cool, isn´t it? and since our night at the movies is cancelled because of my cold I guess I´ll play with my new stuff now! ;o)

I did a new card for my Stampin´Up!-workshops to show to the guest. There´s not much stamping included but I finally used the cute papers and the "Pretties Kit".

I Think it turns out cute. Tell me what you think about it! I know there aren´t lots of people reading this blog but I know some people do! ;o)

Happy new year!

I hope you started the new year with a lot of fun! Have a great new year! Stay healthy and may some of your dreams come true!

I made some resolutions for 2009. I know, I know: most resolutions fail in the first month. But I wanna try it though! ;o) I signed up for the Big Picture-class "A life well crafted" with Kolette and Jason Hall. The class started yesterday and so far I love it! And I think it´ll help me to make some of my resolutions work! :o) My most important goal right now is to become healthy. I had lots of healthy problems during the last month (as I mentioned before). To reach this goal I want to have less stress and do some sports again. So I decided to spend one hour of "me-time" each and every day. I´ll be creative just for fun, watch TV, read or do wantever is on my mind at the moment. And I´ll definatly spend some precious time with Andi! Our little family is the most important thing in my life and I wanna enjoy it! The other thing I´m going to do is to exercise every other day for 30 minutes. I hope that these first little steps will help me to rech my goal!

I sew a flying pig and finished it on new years eve. I think it´s a great lucky charm for 2009. It´s hanging by my desk now. This way it´s a constant reminder for the luck in my life too: my family and friends, our safe home, my job and so much more. I wanted to share it with you:

It was fun to sew it but I guess I need to exercise some more with sewing ears or legs to a body! *lol* But I like the result! The pattern is from Tone Finnanger. I still love her Tilda-stuff! My friend Katarina bought some crafting stuff from Tilda for me and I just adore it!!! Thanks Katarina! *hug* I´m sure I´ll use it soon!

The year comes to an end...

I first thought that I would be happy to leave 2008 behind. But after I thought about it a little more I think 2008 was ok. I had a lot of problems with my health but I´m sure they will not suddenly vanish because it´s 2009 now! ;o) And I had some great times in 2008 too! We went on our honeymoon, moved in a great new home, I made lots of new friends (even international!) and enjoyed some great time being creative. And best of all: I spend precious time with my family and friends! Thanks to all of you that have been at my side this year! *hugs*

Surely I can´t finish my blogyear without something creative! :o) Here´s a new kind of box I did. I saw something like it here. But be carefully if you go there! Danielle has some really gorgeous stuff on her blog! Tons of inspiration! Here´s my box:

Back to Scrapbooking!

Yeah! I finally found my way back to do a LO again! *woohoo* Don´t ask me how long it took but I just can say it was waaaay longer than I usually need. And I´m a slowly scrapper! ;o) I used some pics of christmas eve. Fresh pics are a great start!

When I was finally done I just started the next one and finished it the other day. It´s with an actual christmas-pic too. Ok, honestly I use those new pics because I *NEED* to sort through the older ones first. They are all just waiting in a box... But I´ve plans to sort them soon because I need more pics to scrap. I don´t wanna pause for such a long time again!

If you have any tipps for me how to take better pics of 12x12´´ LOs they would be more than welcome. I really don´t like my photos. I think my LOs look different (in my oppinion better) in real life than on those pics.

Christmas and some snowflakes

I hope you all had a great chistmas-time! I enjoyed the time with my family. We celebrated christmas eve with my mom, her dh and my sister here at home (if you don´t know: we celebrate christmas eve here and get the gifts then here in Germany). Above you can see our tree. :o)

The next days we went to my inlaws in Düsseldorf and celebrated with Andis family. It was so much fun to see almost everybody of our family for the holidays!

Before christmas I needed some more cards for some friends. I saw a snowflake-shaped card on the internet and wanted to try this too. So I cut some with my Cricut and when I seached for the images to use I thought that the sitting kids from Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar work just perfect. I´m glad every girl liked her snowflake! :o) Here they are (with some close-ups):

As I said we had a great time celebrating the holidays. The only thing I missed was snow! We had just one small snow-shower so far and that was a while ago. And it didn´t last long. So I decided today to do a snow-card with one of my loved Elzybells-stamps. These stamps are just too cute! :o)

I really like the color-combination. I think it works perfect for the winter-themes! :o)

I got some new stuff to play with for christmas. Now I "just" have to decide what to use first! But since I haven´t scrapped that much in a long time I wanna start with this hobby first. So I cleaned my scrap-space today and now I´m starting with a LO. We´ll see how long it´ll take! :o)

My christmas-Stampin´Up!-workshops

I had my last Stampin´Up!-workshop last week. So now it´s time to rest and enjoy the christmas-time. And surely I´ll start to prepare the workshops for the beginning of 2009. But before I start this I´ll show you what I´ve done at my workshops in December. One thing was a christmas-card. I did this two examples:

Most people here in Germany like the traditional christmas-colors red, vanilla and green. That why I used those colors for the cards.But since I do christmas-workshops since the end of september I don´t wanna see this color-combination that much any more! I so love other colors too!!! :D So I did this little gift-box in purple. I know that a lot of people don´t like purple but I do! But to make everybody happy I always have other cardstock-colors with me for the workshops! Here´s my example:

I was really glad that everybody enjoyed the workshops!I wanted to do so many christmas-cards this year but I didn´t!

I´m really sad I don´t have enough cards for all the lovely people I wanted to send one. But I guess it´s too late now and so I guess I should start with my card-produktion for the birthdays in 2009. I wasn´t very successful with this in 2008 too. :o(

... and one day ago this pic was taken.

We had our 1. wedding-anniversary yesterday. I can´t believe that it´s already one year!! But I´m sure that this was the bestest day of my life! I married the love of my life and I´m really grateful that I have this great man as my husband!!!

If you need proof of this I can tell you that he is always there when I need him! He´s my best friend too. You wanna see it yourselve that he´s great??? Ok, than I´ll show you his x-mas gift for me ;o) :

Any more questions? :o) This sewing- & stiching-mashine is so awesome!!! I´m not sure if there´s anything she can´t do! Andi says I just wanted it because it looks so beautiful. *lol* And to be honest: it looks beautiful, doesn´t it?? :D But it has so many options like f.e. that it has a USB-port so you could use it with you computer!!! And last but not least: it´s fun to sew with! I started with simple things and than I finished this bag that I started in my sewing-class:

The pattern and the fabric is from Amy Butler. I really love her stuff! I´m sure I´ll sew this cute little bag again!

Before I close this post for today I´ll show you so more of my christmascards for this year:

The next card is not "typical Coni" I think. It´s an image by Thomas Kinkade. I like his stuff and the stamps. But it´s really hard to color them. Here I used my pastels and later highlighted the lightbulbs with stickles.

When you move the card it looks like the lights are shining. I like this card but I´ve heard that a lot of people don´t like this kind of stamps and prefere my "typical Coni-style" more. Whatever: I´m sure there will be more cards like this one!

Usually I don´t participate in Blog-candies, but this is a very special one: My friend Katarina from Sweden is celebration 10 years with the love of her life Bengt. She´s such a wonderful person and does beautiful creations! I love the idea of her candy because she wants to spread the LOVE with it! Every time someone joins she will add something to her candy because love grows when you share it! Isn´t that a wonderful idea???

Magnolia x-mas

Last week I got some new Magnolias. I really love their stamps. I was really happy that I got all the stamps I had on my wish-list. I had some time to stamp last weekend when a friend and my sister came over to have fun together. So I mounted and used my new stamps. I wanted to use my watercolor-pens again. I hadn´t used them in a long time! When I had colored this cutie in "my" colors I immidiatly wanted to do a card with her. Here´s what I did:

The colors are brighter in real life but I´didn´t had the best light when I took this pic.

When I searched for the leaves shape I found the Quickutz rub-ons I got with my "Vixen"-alpha. I really love them so I never used them. I always thought that they are way too prescious to use. Sometimes I´m crazy! I buy stuff to use it biut just couldn´t do it because it´s just too great! Do you know this feeling? Whatever, this time I decided to use one of the rub-ons because I thought the sentiment works perfect with my card. :o)

I have colored two more images and hope to make cards from them soon!

Christmas is near!

I starting to look a lot like christmas! :o) And I´m way behind with my christmas cards. :o( But from time to time I find some time to stamp. Here are two cards I did:

Since I do most of my Stampin´Up!-workshops using red and green since September I ´like to use other colors in my "private" stamping. ;o) And I think with these images light colours like the blue and the pink work very well! :o)

About 1 1/2 weeks ago we had our first snow. *yeah* Honestly I just LOVE snow!!! I was so happy that I was at home so I could grap my camera and take a pic. This was the view from our living-room:

Beautiful, isn´t it? The snow lay everywhere for a while but just a few hours later everything melt and the world looked gray. :o( I hope we´ll have lots of snow and sunny winterdays this year! For those of you that need to drive I hope for "winterfree" streets too! ;o)

Inspired by the snow I wanted to use a new stamp I bought at Whiff of joy. Isn´t that a cute little snowman?

I use my cuttlebug-folders more often now and I really love them! Here I used the ColorCore-cs and aged the embossed images to show the lighter color inside the cs. I think that´s a beautiful effect.

Patchwork and a LO

I sew a lot lately! I guess it´s my new addicition. Not that I don´t have another addiction and way too much time! *lol* But it´s so much fun!!!

And this table-coth was my first "real" patchwork-work:

I epecially love the fabrics from Tilda and Amy Butler. That´s why I went shopping last week and bought these:

I can´t wait to use these fabrics! I already started sewing the bag with the Amy Butler-fabrics. But I guess it´ll take some time before I´ll be posting them here.

Last week I started working on the Big Picture-class again. I´m waaaay behind but it´s so great to scrap again! Can somebody please send some time? I soo need it to do all the projects I have in mind! *lol*

This LO is about our visit in Austria this spring. I´m so sorry I couldn´t show a better pic but whatever I did the quality doesn´t change. :o( In real life the colors where really bright and warm!

Maybe you could see the colors better on here?

Right now it´s really hard to dicide what to do in my free time: stampin´, scrappin´or sewin´? Oh, and did I ever mention that I love to play "World of Warcraft" and there´s a new add on to that game out? I guess everybody else palying that game is playing instead of doing crafts! *lol* Whatever! I will not find more time so I should just enjoy whatever I do right?

Pink christmas

As I´ve mentioned before I love the pink/lightgreen-combination for christmas. That´s why I´m so happy that tehre are so many great papers in these colors availible at the moment. The paper I used for this card are from K&Company and I bought the whole paper-pad. :D

I used an Elzybells-image again. I really love these cute images and wonder why I didn´t use this one before (or the other that still are not used...)!

New bag...

Tonight it was time for my sewing-class again. I wanted to start sewing my "flying pig" but spontanously decided to sew a bag. I bought everything I needed in a kit when I was at the convention. Andi saw the bag and showed it to me. Isn´t it great to have a hubby that feeds your addiction? *lol*

I was really happy that I could finish it in just one evening! Here are the pics:

I´m sorry that the photos don´t show that the light fabric is a pale pink. :o( But it´s hard to get the colors like they are in real life. I´m not sure what to use the bag for. I have several ideas. What do you think? Oh, it´s ca. 26x26 cm (10 x 10 inch).

Ok, I guess next week I´m starting with the pig, um? ;o)

House Mouse- Challenge #11

I don´t patizipate in challenges often. Mostly it´s because I don´t find the time or when I see the challenge it´s not something I´m in the mood for. But I´ve been watching the House Mouse-Challenge-Blog. I really love all the creations there and the ideas for the challenges. When I lurked in today again I loved the challenge! And since I had some time I decided to join! :o) The theme this week is "Natural". So I decided to use natural colors:

The scalloped circle and the ribbon are dark-brown. On the pic they look a little like black. :o(

It was great to use a House Mouse again!! Thanks for the hint to use them! ;o) I didn´t used them often lately which is sad!!! I had so much fun using this cute mouse and I had a lot of fun joining this challenge. I´ll surely be back soon! ;o)

Forever friends-christmas

Do you know "Forever friends"? As some of you know I´m a huge teddy-bear-fan. So I love this littel, cute bears for years now! What Sarah Kay-stuff was in my childhood, Forever friends were to my earliy teenage years. :o)

My dear friend JayJay told me that there are some Forever friends-stamps out now and showed me a UK-shop sending them to Germany too. I surely couldn´t resist and buy some of those cute stamps! ;o)

Purple winter...

I saw a wonderful background last week and wanted to try it immidiatly! The girl who did this just stamped some snowflakes in the same color like the cardstocck - just a darker version. Then she lightly goes with her white pen along the lines of the stamps. This looks sooo cool! So I tried it on this card:

Here´s a close-up of the background.

I used my new cuttlebug-folders too - finally! I have them for some a while now and still haven´t used them. To make the embossing more visible I used a white chlak-inkpad to highlight it a little. Now I´m not sure anymore if I still like it or if it is too much. What do you think?

I´m sure I´ll do more cards with those backgrounds. It´s a good way to safe patternd paper. But I´ll use pp too - I just love it too much to not use it! ;o)

The last days were filled with a lot of action. But all this action was fun! :o)

Last thursday I´ve been to my sewing-class again. I spontanously decided to sew a small bag from my new book "Tildas winterworld" from Tone Finnanger. So I bought the fabric and started. Stupid me! I hadn´t bought enough fabric! So I decided to do the bag even smaller than I wanted to do it. When I was done the whole class laughed. Here´s my new bag. I put a stamp next to it so you can see the size.

Since I had some more fabric (just not for the bag I wanted) I sew another of the boxes like I´ve done before. It´s just a very small one too this time. But it´s perfect for some tissues! ;o)

On friday and saturday I did some Stampin´Up!-workshops again. We did little giftbags for x-mas (like I did at another workshop before). Here´s my example:

I´m really sorry I didn´t think of taking pics at every workshop I did this bag! We always had so different bags in the end! That´s something I really like! But I took one pic on saturday. We were just five people (many couldn´t come because they became ill) but we had fun! :o) Here´s our little gallery:

It´s great to see the different results! That´s something I really like about being a SU!-demo! There´s so much inspiration for me! :o)

Yesterday I´ve been to a crafters-convention in Lübeck. There wasn´t a lot for stampers or scrappers (I bought 3 paper-sheets, that´s it). But there´s a lot for those that sew. And since I´m a big fan of Tone Finnanger I bought some Things to sew more of her stuff:

The tan-tanned fabric is for a flying pig I want to do. It´ll (hopefully) look like the little wooden one I bought. I so love this pig! And yes: I´m trying to sew one of the Tilda-dolls. There´s everything I need for this in the box.

I´m going to a patchwork-workshop for christmas on the 1st of November. So I wanted some fabric for this too. And I was sooo happy when I found this patterns:

I really like pink/lightgreen for x-mas! I just bought some pp with these colors. I know lots of people prefere the classic red/green-combo. I like that too but I love pink/lightgreen! :o) Now I just need to decide what to sew! ;o)

So this past weekend was over in a rush and I can´t believe it´s already monday! But here it is and the new working-week has started! I wish the weekends were longer and the working part sooner done! ;o)

Ok, I was a bad blogger lately - again! I blog often in german but when it comes to the english blog I´m often too lazy! SORRY! Now my friend Katarina reminded me that I need to update here more often too. Thanks! I guess I needed this! *hug*
I was thinking about putting both blogs in one but I guess that the posts are way to long this way. And honestly I don´t like to read blogs that have both languages (most of the times I read both languages and wonder why *lol*). So I guess I will "work" with both blogs again. I will not promise to updated way more often here! I did that before and didn´t do it. And I hate to promise something and don´t do it!!! But I´ll try, ok? ;o)

First Halloween-card

Ok, I just showed my first christmas-card but Halloween is first right? So I decided to do my first card for this event now. Luckyly I don´t need as much halloween-cards as I need cards for christmas so Im going to continue on both fronts! ;o)

I bought this cute little Magnolia-stamps at the Stempelmekka last weekend and wanted to use it right away! Isn´t that little Tilda cute and just look at this little spider! If spiders would be as cute as this one in real life I wouldn´t mind that they wanna life in our home! *lol*

And isn´t this little cat with her wings sweet too? I think Magnolia has done a great job creating this halloween-stamps!!!

I´ll show another sneak of the next Stampin´Up!-stuff this weekend again. I so hoped for some infos on the Stampin´Up!-booth at the Stempelmekka. But unfortunatly there wasn´t anything but a banner with a picture of the new idea-book. And even this one didin´t shows the whole frontpage... So we still have to wait. But it´s just a few more days, right?

Before I start talking about last weekend I wanna tell you that I finally did my first christmas-card! *whoohoo* It took a while before I could finish it but finally I´m done. I always have problems with my first card and it´s not easy doing christmas-stuff when it´s sunny and warm outside! ;o) But here it is: *tadaaa*

Ok, and now about the weekend. ;o) It started with another Stampin´Up!-workshop I did. the hostess asked me to do tags so I give everybody these ideas:

I love to do home decor and I think a decorated candle like the one I did is easy and quick to do but looks beautiful. It´s an idea for a small gift too. I was lucky that everybody liked my ideas!

I was home really late but had to get up really early. My sister Carola and I went to the "Stempelmekka". It´s Germanys biggest convention for stampers.

It was soooo much fun!!! I met so many people - some of them I haven´t seen for month and some of them I just know through internet. And they all were so nice and I wished I would have had more times to chat. But there were sooo many of them! I was there to shop too but it took several hours before I got the first change to see some stuff without being distracted. ;o)

My favorite booth was from Magnolia. I like their stamps and I think their booth was so cute! They had their rubber in little baskets and tags on it to show the image. And they had some AWESOME cards there. Great inspiration!

And are those woodcut Tildas sweet???

I just could have stand there and look for a long time! *lol*

Ok, but I wanted to use my time to do some shopping too. This is what I bought:

I was a little sorry that there wasn´t more scrapbooking-stuff. I didn´t like most of the papers they had. But I could have bought way more stamps! ;o) And I would have never guessed that I was going to buy a scor-pal. I always think and siad that I don´t need a tool just to score. Ok but then Gisi demonstrated it and I was done. *lol* I´ll see how much I´m going to use it!!!

My dear friend Nicole celebrated her birthday last weekend. She likes Sarah Kay a lot so I made this card for her. I´m happy she liked it! :o)

I colored the image with my new Stampin´Up!-markers. It´s my first try and I´m really happy about the result! Those markers are AWESOME! I just used the soft tones so far but I´m sure I´ll soon buy the other sets too! ;o) Here´s a close-up of the image:

You make me happy

As I wrote into my last post: right now it´s easier for me to create at home. I did this in my space and I like the result. :o) I colored the image at my last crop and put the card together at home. I just searched through my stash and looked for whatever I could use. :o) I really like the result. Using the paper-leaves AND the punched leaves together turns into a great look I think. I´ll definatly do this again!

Right now I´m so curious about the new german Stampin´Up-catty! The retired lists shows that ALL the great papers are leaving. I really love the patternd papers from SU! like this one I used here. Luckily I still have some more and just stocked everything up with last month sale. It´s sad that they won´t be availible any more but I´m sure there will be a lot of new great papers I wanna buy!

I got a sneak-peak of some new stuff from Stampin´Up! and I plan to show something here this weekend! :o) The first stuff looks just AWESOME!!! So if you are curious too come back! *lol*

... the color-combination pink/green. It just happend! *lol* I finally used on of my cute Rachelle Anne Miller-animal-stamps.

I´m not really happy with this card. I feel like all my cards look the same. :o( But it´s my style right? Right now I think I should have choosen a scalloped oval on the outside. Whatever, I will not change it! ;o) I made this card at a crop and this way I hadn´t all the stuff on hand I have at home. Right now it´s easier for me to stamp at home so I could search through my stash and see what I can find for my card. But I had a LOT of fun meeting other stampes though! ;o)

Lots of new stuff

I haven´t updated this blog lately. I posted on my german blog but was too lazy to blog here too. Sorry! The problem is that the english part often takes more time. And time was something I didn´t had the last weeks. I was sick again and had been to the hospital (nothing serious!) and I had to deal with a lot of stuff like the info that I´ll need to change my job soon. :o( I know this was about to happen but now that´s here I don´t want it! I will still work for the government but I have to change to another department. I love my colleagues here! :o( Ok, we´ll see what exactly will happen. I guess I´ll know till the end of September. And with the health problems, laundry, cleaning, Stampin´Up!-workshops and all the other "usual day-stuff" I couldn´t get me up to keep you all updated here.

But I did some stampin´and scrappin! ;o) And that´s what I wanna show you now! So here´s a LO I did:

And here are some stamped cards I did. The first one is one where I tried a folded card again.

I really love to "age" my stuff right now! I just love the colors! And I put some small flowers that I did with my Stampin´Up!-punch in my prima-flowers for the first time. I really love that and I guess I´m hooked now. Because with the next card I did it again! ;o) I made it for a Sarah Kay-group for a swap. The theme was "pink/green".

Another swap I did was about foil-cards. My partner asked for the color-combination "black/light brown". And since she´s one of my friends I tried it. It was hard at first but then I had more and more fun.

I´m sure I´ll use this color-combination again! It´s so elegant!

I did a starbook with our wedding-pics too. I´ll upload the photos soon. And I hope to be back here more often again!

I did another card with my Whiff of joy-stamps yesterday. This time I used the sweet angel:

I putt some stickles on the wings and other parts of the image. You couildn´t see it in the first picture that great so I did another photo to show it. It´s a little dark but if iot would be lighter you couldn´t see the sparkles again.

Ok, and here´s another picture to show that the card is fold that way that you open it with the image and the ribbon.

Ok, I guess those were enough pics of just one card! *lol* I hope you´ll like it. I´m not that sure because it looks a little pale.

I got some happy mail yesterday. I odered some cute Close to my heart-stuff in the States. Unfortunatly my package was send back to the States for security problems. *grr* So all the stuff was divided into two packeges and send again. Don´t ask me how much I paid for the shipping! *double grrr* However the stuff came today and I´m absolutly in love! Everything looks so beautiful! I hadn´t had the time to work with it yesterday but I hope today I´ll have! Right now I just wish again to have more time. So many new stuff so little time!

I know, I know! It´s still summer. But it looks like I´m in the mood for winter right now. Well I am when it comes to creativity.The weather still should be summer! ;o) felt like winter again yesterday because I got my new Whiff of joy-stamps. It took a while but I´m finally back with something creative. I couldn´t find my mojo and didn´t feel well (yes again... I know). But I just thought I should start with some stuff I love and try to scrap. It needed much more time than I usually do but it got me going and so here´s my new LO:

I know it´s summer right now and it´s really hot here in germany lately but when I saw the pics I took in January I just wanted to use them. And I wanted to use these colors! And since scrapping should be all about fun (especially to get my mojo back) I just did it!

Ten years ago:
I was definatly younger! :o) I did the same job, just broke up with my boyfriend and lived on my own for the first time (I lived with my sister before). Honestly I don´t wanna go back! Just having a younger body would be nice. *lol*

Five things on today's to-do list:
Working
Meeting dh
Drive with him to his parents in Duesseldorf for the weekend
Hopefully checking mails
Hopefully have a little nap in the car! ;o)

A snack I enjoy:
I just LOVE M&M peanut butter. Sometimes I´m sad they aren´t availible here in Germany but on the other hand this may be better for my body mass index!

Places I have lived:
Ok, I´m boring! I was born in Hamburg, Germany. I was raised here and I still live and work here. I don´t even moved to another part of my town. But hey: I love my hometown! It´s a woderful city everybody should see!

Things I would do if I were a millionaire:
Ok, I guess you mean when I´m REALLY rich!? I would buy a house (and someone else is doing the move for me!!!) and Andi would get his Mustang while I get a Renault Convertible. I would give my sister money and some of my friends too. And I would go on a long vacation with my parents. There are really BIG dreams I have but I will not talk about them because wishes don´t come true if you talk about them, right?

Starting with cards...

I did some cards last weekend. The first one I did with one of my new "Sarah kay"-stamps. We sell them in Andis online-shop and I think they are really cute! I love that the lines where so fine!

The papers are from Stampin´Up USA. I wanted to use papers that don´t take the viewer away from the image. And I just LOVE those papers! :o)

The second one I did because I wanted to do something that looks like summer. For a few days now it has become REALLY hot in Germany. And I wanted to use the stamp because I bought itr and never used it. I know there are some more unused stamps in m stash but I plan to use one after another now. And it´s the same with the papers, cardstock etc.!

I did a Stampin´Up!-workshop last weekend too. So I wanted to do a small Make & Take for the ladies. I came up with this tag and I´m glad that everybody liked it a lot!

I didn´t do anything creative since sunday. To be honest I´m just tired. All I wanna do is sleeping and I feel like everything I need to do (even the everyday stuff) is way to much. I guess it´s that I need to rest to relax from our move. I just hope to be back on track soon!

I´m back!

The last weeks were very busy because Andi and I move to a new appartment. Wow I can´t tell you how much stuff we had and how much work the move was! I´m just tired now!!!

But now it´s finally done and I can´t tell you how happy that makes me! I promised myself not to move again soon! ;o)

We really love our new appartment. It has 3 1/2 rooms and is 101 m2 big. Every single room (including the kitchen) has access to a balcony and there´s a lot of light! The area we now live in is really beautiful. It´s green and quiete. A lot of our new bneighbors are ducks because there´s a small river next to our house.! ;o) That´s so different to where we´ve lived before. I need to get used to no noise! *lol*

So I´m back to cyber-space again too! *lol*

How can shopping be so hard??? You should know that I LOVE shopping. But today after a day full of it I´m just tired! We are moving next month and just got the keys to our new appartment on thursday. So we searched for the paint and some furniture today. It was fun to decide what to buy but now my feet hurt and I don´t wanna do anything! I didn´t expect that! ;o) We decided to take the evening off and just relax. Tomorrow we´ll be going to start painting the walls. I guess I will be tired again in the evening! *lol*

I did this Stampin´Up!-card a few days ago. I really love the cardstock and the punches!

I saw a card on an US-blog and wanted to do that one but while I was doing it I changed more and more and now I think that it´s totally different! But that´s something I really like about creativity! You start with an idea and often end with something you didn´t except! And there are no rules so this is just ok! Ah, what a relaxing hobby in the world full of rules! ;o) Do you feel the same?

I really love Pagemaps! So when I saw there´s a book coming out I immidiatly knew that I wanted it! It finally arrives last week and I can say that I love the book too! I wanted to do one of the sketches at once and that´s what I did:

The journaling is written as a border. I really love that idea! It´s about that I like this picture of me because I was so relaxed and happy that moment. Here´s a close-up of the title. It says "happy":

Actually it´s not just that I used the sketch. I scraplifted an example for the sketch! :D

When I wanted to do another sketch I came across this paper from Bo Bunny. And suddenly I started to do something different and did this LO for our wedding-album:

As I wrote before I LOVE playing with my Cricut! Andi found so much fun stuff for me and I couldn´t wait to play with all of them! He found some cool gift-bags too. So I cut this bag from a 12x12´´ cardstock.

Isn´t this cute? :o) It´s just small so I decided to use a small stamped image. I´m still a fan of Elzybells so I used one of those. Right now I don´t know who´ll get this bag but I´m sure there will be an opportunity to give it away! ;o)

This card is one of the Make & Takes at the last Scrap-a-Ganza. I really like the giraffe-papers and think that this card doesn´t need any more embellishments:

I wanted to try to make a card long old again. I had tried this several times now and so far everything went in the waste right away. :D This time I like the result.

I aged the papers using my edge-distresser and colouring the papers brown . Here´s a close-up:

All materials (exept brads and ribbon) are from Stampin´Up! I stamped the background papers myself here too. I don´t do that often and to be honest I love patternd papers way to much to do it much more often! ;o) But I guess I´ll try that again. The more I try the better I´ll get (at least I hope so *lol*)!

Here´s the second part of what I did for the guest-design-team at Scraplove. When I saw the awesome Create Paper-papers and the cute Heidi Swapp-words I knew at once that I wanted to do a LO with our new nephew Louis.

Isn´t he the cutest??? We love it when we get new pics of him and his sister Lina by mail and we really hope to see him in real life soon. It´s so sad they life so far away!

Mega Scrap-a-Ganza

Last weekend I drove to Holland to join the Scrap-a-Ganza. It´s a huge scrapbooking-event in Europe (maybe the biggest one?).

After I had some healthy problems lately I was happy to go but wanted to do it as stressless as possible. So we leave early in the morning to have a lot of time for the 500 km drive. We arrived early and had a look at the area, the hotel and then checked in. We really had a GREAT weekend with TONS of inspiration!!!

We started with an album-track from Donna Downey. Since I started scrapbooking I love what she´s doing. Meeting her was one of my highlights this weekend. She´s really nice and funny! We had a great time in her class.

She taught a album about "A year in life" and the materials from Making Memories were really cute. I can´t show any of the LOs I did or the whole album because I didn´t get very far with this. There are 12 two-sided LOs to be done and there´s paint included. That´s why I still need some time.

After a short break for dinner I went to the next album-track taught by C.D. Muckosky. That girl is REALLY creative and lovely!!! We spend the first part with just some preparations for your album.

We worked the whole saturday morning on our stuff. It was a kind of freestyle-class. She didn´t told us what do do. We just got A LOT of materials and could do LOs for an album of our dearest memories. She showed all the LOs she does in her album. While everybody scrapped there was music in the classroom and everybody worked, chatted and sing along. Every once in a while C.D. explained some techniqhes to be more creative and spend less money. I need to say that her ideas were AWESOME. I really like her style but wasn´t sure if I could do so too. But with her around I thought I should give it a try! :o)

It was hard for me to do the title in my own handwriting but at least I wanted to try it. I´m not very satisfied with the result but it´s ok! I guess I´ll need to try this more often to be more satisfied. ;o) I couldn´t show more LOs because I just got one done! With all the handwriting, hand-sewing and paint I didn´t get more done. And I guess the album contains about 29 LOs! So I guess I´ll be busy to finish it!

After lunch my sister Carola and I went to the "Technique crazy"-workshop taught by Stacy Croninger. She´s from Paper Crafts-mag. I really love that mag!

We did four stamped projects. I just finished the two tags because I wanted to do some changes with the other ones.

The evening and sunday morning I spend doing workshops with Teresa Collins and Vicky Boutin. I really love what Teresa taught. I finished my two-sided LO but I still need to develope the pics. When I´m done I´ll show you. And I love the minialbum too. But there´s a little more work to finish it.

Vicky Boutin got some pre-cut kits for her classes. I was a little disapointed with her LOs but it wasn´t her mistake! If I just get some precut stuff and should do something with it it´s hard! And not all the included stuff really fits together I think. I´ll definatly do a class taught by her again because she´s so great (and her stuff usually is too!). And she promised to bring her own kits next time with uncut pages of patternd papers! ;o)

It was AWESOME to meet so many scrapbooking-celebs and I have to say that all of them were great! I just had the best time learning from them. I can´t wait to get there next year again! I still wanna learn some more and there are still some scrapping celebrities out there I wanna meet! :o)

I confess: I´m a huge fan of little Elmo! Unfortunatly he isn´t a part of the german Sesamestreet but with You Tube around this is no longer a problem. :o) I finally felt in love when I saw this video with Sugarland (and I love Sugarland too!)!

And those who like that video will definatly love this one when Andrea Boccelli brings Elmo to bed.

As I mentioned before I´m guest Design Team member in June for Scraplove. If you haven´t been to the site before you should go there! The Scaplovelies are super nice and there´s a LOT of talent to find!!! That´s why I´m REALLY honored to be guest-desiger this month.

I love Create Paper and I was really happy that I got some of their papers in my stuff for tis month too! But you can´t see what I´ve done with them now. I´ll show you on the 15th of June! :D If you love these papers from Dream Street Papers or Create papers or any other patternd papers you should RUN to the Scraplove-store! They are having a sale and all the papers are just 39 cent!!!

Oh, and did I mentioned that I love this man? *lol* Ok, those who know me know that! But right now I love him a little more. ;o) He searched for pics and vectorized them so I could cut them with my Cricut! *woohoo* That shape of Florida is one of the things he did. Isn´t that cool? He´s the bestest! So I did this LO too:

I wanted to do another LO and I knew that I wanted to use this beautiful rub-on from the Amy Butler-Collectin for K&Company. It´s unusual for me to start with materials. Usually I start with the story or the photo.

When I searched for a fitting pic I came across this pic of Alicia and me and thought it was perfect - especially because she loves glitter on her LOs too! ;o)

Here´s a Close-Up of the rub-on. Unfortunatly you can´t really see that the rub-on itself is glittered and that the rheinstones are white and green. :o(

Wall-decor

As I wrote in my last post I wanted to do something that´s not a card. So this is the project that was laying on my desk.

I made a wall decor for our niece. She likes cats a lot (far as I know) so I wanted to use the cute image of Rachelle Anne Miller.

Here´s the whole thing:

I hope she´ll like it! And since she has a new brother since April I guess I need to do another wall-decor soon! ;o)

Cards, cards, cards

I´ve done a lot of cards lately. I was in the mood to stamp so everytime I had the time I just did it (I just wish I would have had more time!). So here are the cards I did.

This reindeer is so funny! I just love the way it looks and it does exactly what I love to do to relax: comfort place, legs up, something hot to drink (for me a steamer with coconut-flavour *yummy*) and a cupcake with a lot of frosting! Perfect!!!

The next one I made for a swap. We should use the initial of our recipients name. My card was for Domi so I came up with this idea when I was searching my stamps for the image. I´m glad she really like it!

This card I did just for fun. I wanted to do it like a card for a little girl - since there is this cute little girl on it. So I used a lot of bling and pastell colours.

To make the card even more I coloured it with my Twinklings H2Os and put some stickles on the little hearts. Here´s a close up so you can see it (hopefully!):

There are some Stampin´Up-workshops on my calendar. So I need to do some more examples. And I had this beautiful background-stamp for a while now and finally wanted to use it. I think it´s so beautiful!!! I thought it doesn´t need a lot besides it:

This is another just for fun card. When I saw the image of this cute hÄnglar & stÄnglar-stamp I immidiatly thought: "Oh, she´s soo sweet!". So when I looked for the sentiment and came across the "Sweet one"-stamp by Stampin Up! I knew I wanted to do this:

Happy birthday sista!

Yesterday was my sisters birthday and we celebrated it in the evening. I´m so glad I have a sis like her. She is one of my closest friends too! Love her!!!

I made this card for her:

The special thing about this card is that I made it with an overlay. I saw some card cut out of 12x12´´ overlays in magazines and online. But since I do most of my card like postcards I thought about using an overlay that is the size of a card (or actually a photo).

I had so much fun doing this! This way I needed to take care about the back of my card too. I don´t do backsides often and I usually don´t care about them. But here I had to. But this way you have the opportunity to see both sides of the beautiful patternd papers! :o) And here´s my backside:

I adhered the pp on the back of the overlay (with gluedots for vellum so it´s unvisible) and the stamped image and the flowers on the front. The sentiment is stamped directly on the overlay with StazOn.

I had so much fun doing this card that I´m sure I´ll do something transparent again soon. I already have something on my mind! ;o)

Our honeymoon

Here I am again - finally! I´m sorry I didn´t updated my english blog for so long. I guess I should be here more often again! ;o)

Andi and I´ve been on our honeymoon´in Fort Lauderdale/Florida. We had such a GREAT time!!! The weather was just perfect (no rain) and we had so much fun! We relaxed a lot and just did what was on our mind. And doesn´t the beach and the palms look beautiful? Ah, I wish I could go right back! ;o)

On special thing on our trip was a weekend where we met some of the girls (and some of their dh´s) from Scraplove. I was a little afraid because of the language and if we still like each other when we´ll met in real life for the first time. But all my fears faded when we met. These girls were just AWESOME and if I liked them at Scraplove and can now say that I love them! Thanks to all of them (and their dh´s) for making our honeymoon a little more special!

I know some people say I´m crazy but I scrap and stamp on vacations too. I´m addicted to this so why should I miss this during a vacation? It made my time just better! ;o) So one evening I scrapped this LO with pics of the lovelies:

We didn´t just relax and meet the girls. We also went shopping *lol* and we´ve been to Butterfly World. It was a wonderful trip!! I´ve never before seen so many butterflies. There were thousands in all sizes and colours! And they even sit on us! Here are a few pics I took so many that I could scrap albums with them! ;o)

This one flew right on Andis head:

I saw hummingbirds there of the first time too. They are really beautiful and stunnig - so small and their wings flatter sooo fast! Amazing!

We really had a wonderful vacation! I´m sure that I´ll never ever forget it! And we already decided to go back to the States as soon as possible again! :o)

Spring Fling Cybercrop

The first weekend of April there was a cybercrop at Scraplove. It was soooo much fun and I did get a lot of stuff done. :o) Here´s what I did:

I couldn´t find a filefoler for one of the workshops. So I did this minialbum with black cardstock instead:

I also did an album with a Hambly-overlay. It was a workshop by the fabulous Michelle. I was still waiting for some of the materials but I did it with what I have on hand. The missing stuff arrived last weekend and I will finish my album tonight. When it´s done I´ll show it here. ;o)

Lots of new stuff!

I´ve been creative lately and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE it that way! :o)))

I started with a mini-album. I bought the mini-album-kit last August at a convention. I really love the patterns of Amy Butler so I couldn´t resist this kit. Now I finally used it and also took the smaller wedding-pics that I had on hand.

I had some scraps of the papers left and I had this hÄnglar-image. I already started colouring it and so I did this card:

The next day I wanted to do some LOs. I wanted to do more of the challenges at Scraplove. I like them as a starting point. The first challenge I did was to make the paper edgy. So I grabed my Stampin´Up-punches and did this:

I really like the look of the scalloped papers I did with my SU!-corner rounder and the notebook-effect with the spiral-punch!

The second challenge I did was to do something about a long-life-love. I knew at once what I wanna scrap about!!!

This teddybear spend (almost) my whole life with me! I got it for x-mas when I was 3 month old. Since then it was always there! I slept every night with him besides me when I was a kid and I told him everything! He was there for me when times got hard in my childhood (and there were ones that were really hard :o( ... ). He was my first love and I´m sure I will love him my whole life! :o)

Today the cyber-crop at Scraplove will start. *woohoo* I can´t wait to get started! Unfortunatly it starts really late tonight because of the time differences. And I´m still waiting for the second part of my kit. But hopefully it´ll come today so I´ll be prepard. Whatever: I´m sure I´ll have lots of fun! And best of all: dh said I don´t need to do anything but scrapping! Isn´t he the best??? Love him!

When I vistited may friend JayJay yesterday I couldn´t resist and bought this little "Dala Tilda" from her shop "Stempelstern". Isn´t she cute? And best of all I imidiatly wanted to use the stamp and did this card:

I haven´t been that much creative the last days. One thing why I didn´t do that much may be that we bought a Nintendo Wii. We tried it this last weekend and I can tell you: it was soooo much fun! We laughed so hard! The only problem is that we are couchpotatoes

Creative Easter

I hope everybody had a great easter! We hadn´t very much dates so I relaxed a lot (which I sooo needed) and scrapped. *woohoo*

I started with two LOs. Both were for challenges at Scraplove.

The first challenge was to scrap about yourself. Ok, I´m doing that often so that wasn´t a big challenge for me.

I used my new elements grungeboard for the first time and also my crackle paint and I love both! I´m sure I´ll use them more often now. Here´s a close-up so you could see the crackles better:

The second challenge was to use bling. Well another thing that´s not so hard to me! *lol* But I did a LO I wanted to do for a while now. It´s about a stamping-convention in germny last year. The most visit shop there was Magnolia from Sweden. I *needed* to buy something there too!

I knew I wanted to use one of their cute stamps on the page too. I was a little afraid to use a stamp image on a LO but it was fun and I´m happy I did it! I´m sure I´ll do it again! And I already have an idea in mind! :o)

Another project I did is this album. It was the Creating Keepsakes-Kit of the month in January. I fell in love the moment I saw it. And I was lucky enough to get one! I also did the Big Picture-class that was offered for this kit. Aren´t the papers and the embellishments awesome? And look at that cool tinbox!

It´s an album telling our love-story so far. I journaled a lot on the papges to tell our story and it was really fun. And the best of it is that Andi journaled too! Yes, he wrote his view on our story on some of the pages too. Isn´t that something special? And believe me: he did an AWESOME job!!!

Ok, we need to do our love-songs-cd and put it in here but the album´s done and I´m really happy I did this! It was so much fun and I think it´s a great memory! And I still have two more pages and some papers left to add something to the album! And I think this one is ok for another challenge at Scraplove: use someone else´s handwriting. ;o)

I was happy yesterday! Andi has an online-shop and he got the ok for selling the cute stamps from Rachelle Anne Miller. They will be send out in April and I can´t wait for them! If you wanna have a look, go here.

And is there a better way for a stamper to show how happy she is than stamping? *lol* So I sat down and did this card with one of Rachelle Anne Millers earlier images:

The wordstamp is from Stampin´Up! It says "happy". :o) I love this wordstamps more and more each time I use them! And I used my new favorite tool again: the Stampin´Up-corner punch. I love to make those scolloped papers and with the punch I can do them on my own! *yeah*

Yesterday I finished a LO about the time we were engaged. I wanted to scrap this pic for a while.

We weren´t engaged for a long time. We always knew that when we´ll do it officially we´ll get married soon. So it was just for almost three month in fall 2007. And this pic is the best I have from us from this time.

Creative again!

So, it´s time to show something creative again! :o)

Last Saturday I went to a crop with some friends to stamp together. We celebrated a birthday this way. Yes we know we are a little crazy and addicted. But we love it this way! *lol*

I didn´t get much done but I can show you two new cards. The first one is with my newest stamp. Isn´t that bunny cute? I couldn´t resist this cute butt when I saw it! *hehe*

The second card I did with one of those new Lola-stamps. I think they are adorable but unfortunatly I don´t have one of those stamps. But my friend JayJay has some so I could use hers.

When I look at the pic now I think it´s a little too much pink and purple. And I see again that my scanner isn´t perfect. The blanket is purple too...

Yesterday I finally found the time to try my new scrapplace. All I can say is: I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! I´m so happy! Everything´s going much better now! I just use the stuff that I love now (because that´s all that I have now!), have in reach what I need, find what I was looking for and could move like I love to do! It´s just perfect for me! And I hope it´ll stay this way! I don´t wanna go "back"!

I started with another challenge at Scraplove. The only thing I had to do was altering a picture. When I looked through my photos I came across this pics of my lovely friend Bettina and me. I immidiatly laughed when I saw them! We had so much fun sitting in the photo-cabine taking this pics. I turned one of it to black/white and that´s it! *lol*

Aren´t we beauties? *laughing* When I look at this LO now I´m smiling again! :o)

I used my Cricut and the "Sure cuts a lot"-software for the title. This programm is really great! You could cut any ttf-font on your pc with this programm on your Cricut. I don´t remember which font I used here. Sorry! But I´m sure I´ll search the net for new fonts now! ;o)

My reorganized scrap-space

I did it!!! Today I can show you what I´ve done the last view weeks! I reorganized my scrap-space! Before I´ll show it I´ll show how it looks BEFORE:

When I saw the pics I didn´t realize how much stuff it was! Horrible!

I bought the book "The organized and inspired scrapbooker" by Wendy Smedley and Aby Garvey. I loved it at once! And I took the class at Big Picture taught by Wendy Smedley about the same toppic. I could tell ya: I love the way I got my new space! As I´ve told before we started looking at how we work and what inspires us.

When we came back from Austria we went to see Andis partents for the weekend. During this week I should have brought all of my stuff out of my space. So this is what I started that sunday evening. And it took till yesterday evening to sort out everything and put in in the new storage solution I decided to use. Nine days of sorting, baskets of waste and bringing up new storage and furniture! And I needed to go to work for four days last week too. If somebody would have told me how much work this would be I maybe wouldn´t have done this! *lol*

Ok, but now that my new space is up I so love it! Unfortunatly I didn´t find the time to "use" it but that´s what I´ll do this evening after work is done! :o)

Ok, and here it is:

We moved our desks to the walls. Mine is next to the bigger window now so I could use natural lights when I work (when it´s dark I use my daylight-lamp). And I have some space behind me so I could move! I regognize that I move often while I create and now there´s enough space for it. That´s why I left some space on the wardrobe next to my desk. I love working while I stand so I could use this space now. It´s a little higher than my desk and so my back wouldn´t hurt that much. I would love to have a "real" table to stand on but that´s one of my dreams for the future. :o)

In the wardrobe there are the tools I use. This way I couldn´t see them if I don´t want but they are easy to reach for. In the loading under my Cricut f.e. there´s all the stuff I need for it: bigger scraps of cardstock, cutting mats and replacement blades. The other loadings are filled with papers to stamp on, inkpads, paints, Bind-it-all-stuff etc.

On the other wall next to the door is my new shelf. I always wanted to have one of them and now I got it! Dh decided it´s perfect and that we need it! *lol*

In the dark basket on the top are all my unused mini-abums. Most of them are made of chipboard. I guess I like those a lot because there are a lot! ;o) I´m going to try to get them done one after another! :o)

Those boxes are filled with my rubber-stamps. I sorted them by company. That´s what I´ve done before and I like it. If I look for a stamp I thing about the company first.

There are the same boxes again for my embellishments. While trying to figure out how I work I realized that I mostly ever did my embellis at last and look for the colours I used in my project. So I now put all of them in boxes sorted by colour. I sorted them by type before but I realized that it took very long to find something and that I often forgot what I got. So now everything with the same colour is in one box: chipboards, ribbon, sticker, eyeltes, brads... It feels much better this way and I hope it´ll work as well as I hope! :o)

My papers are sorted new too. I did it by colours and some themes (like wedding ;o) or christmas). That was a lot of work! More than 50% of my papers didn´t find their way back in my space! And it´s the same with stamps, embellis and some tools! That was hard but it feels great now too! There is only stuff I love left in my space and I thing it´s still enough to scrap for a long time without the need to go shopping! ;o)

A little decoration is needed too! :o) It´s for my inspiration! That´s why I put this stuff next to my desk so I could see it everytime I sit down. I love the little snowman my sister Carola sew for me! And isn´t that mushroom-lady funny? And I put my "inspiration-board" right in front of me. I will put all stuff on it that bring up some ideas!

I also love to work with flowers and like to look at them. So they are in reach too. :o)

Another thing I did were this baskets. One basket contains my stickers and rub-ons that couldn´t go in any of my "colour-boxes". Sometimes I´m inspired just by looking at them! The other basket is for my journaling. I figured out that I often start my LOs with my story. So journling is very important to me. I got the idea for this basket in my class at BPS. It contains all of the stuff I could use for my journaling: chipboards, stamps, rub-ons, cardstock-boxes etc. I often forgot what stuff I have for this so I like to try it with all in one place.

The class isn´t over yet. But I couldn´t wait till it finished in the end of March. There was way to much chaos at home! We don´t have that much space and it makes me go crazy! I´ll see if I´m going to change some things this month thoughout the class. But as far as I´m done I LOVE my new space!!! :o)))

And tonight when I´m home from work I´ll "use" it for the first time! I can´t wait to sit down and start!

This was a very long post but I wanted to describe what I´ve done. And honestly I wouldn´t been finished now if my sweetheart wouldn´t have done it with me! Love ya!!! And my sister helped me too! Thanks to them and everybody that told me all the way that I shouldn´t give up! *hugs*

Austria

I promised some pics and I´m sorry it took so long to upload them!

We had a great time visiting Andis sister and her family in Austria! The landscape is really amazing and the weather was wonderful. We enjoyed sunshine every day!

When we flu over the Alpen the sight was so great! I love seeing the mountains. Where I live mountains are far away.

We spend a lot of time with the familie and chatted a lot. Andi really loves his sister and so they had to keep up with anything they didn´t talk about on the phone! ;o)

One afternoon we hiked a little. We went to the Hemmaberg (a nearby mountain) and had this faboulous sight over the landscape:

I was gald we could go most of the way by car because the rest of the way we went by feet was hard for us! I guess we need to do more sports - or even ANY sports!!! *lol*

We came to a church and this tree stands right next to it. It´s more than 1.000 years old! I love to see these old trees. Imagine all the stuff this tree has seen and hopefully will see!

When we went there the lights were fantastic and I took sooo many pics! I don´t only take pics from the landscape but some of dh, his sis and our niece too. I asked my sil if she could take one of Andi and me too. So here´s the proof we´ve been there together! ;o)

The evening before we went with bil to try archery (sp?). I´ve tried it once before but it was the first time for Andi. We had so much fun! Ok, we weren´t well but who asked? ;o) We had fun and I think it looks like we are knowing what we do, don´t we? *lol*

I took a LOT of pics while we were in Austria! My favorite "subject" was our adorable niece Lina. She´s such a cutie! It was just fun to play and be with her! This pic is one of my favorites:

I love being an aunt and hope to be a mom myself someday!

I couldn´t stand it and brought something to scrap with me. One morning I found some quiete time to do this mini-album with pics from about our trip to Fort Lauderdale last May. It´s nothing special because I just had some stickers but I like how it turned out

Woohoo! My mojo is back! I just hope it´ll stay for a while! ;o) Yesterday at work I suddenly had an idea for a valentines-present for dh. I could leave work earlier and when I got home I immidiatly started. Everything felt together without any problem. Yeah! I can´t show my gift for him here now because he might peek but I´ll show you tomorrow!

The reason I wanted to do something special for him is that he showed me this last weekend and told me this is my valentines-gift.

Isn´t that mean? He showed it but I didn´t get it!!! Men! *ha* But so far it looks good. So I decided to do something special for him too. I´ll show you his present for me tomorrow too. :o)

When I finished my project yesterday I thought I should go on. I needed to do a valentines-card for a swap and I wanted it to be there on Valentines day. Without my mojo I thought I couldn´t do it. I didn´t like to send a card that is just done... Kwim? But my mojo is back and so I did this card:

I used one of the new hÄnglars. I think this little girl is so cute! My stamps aren´t here but I got this image and couldn´t resist to use it. And I used the new Cosmo Cricket-papers from the Stempelzoo too.

As I mentioned my mojo is lost! Last week I did this LO but I don´t like it this much. The pic was taken last christmas and I look sooo tiered! But it´s what christmas 2007 was: we were happy newlyweds and tiered because of all teh stress we had. We had just two free days from work to get married and worked all the other days - even between christmas and New Years Eve...

I hope to find my mojo when I´m done with my new scraproom. I don´t want to search for stuff anymore!!! When I went to my sewing-class last thursday I needed to start a new project. I came across this wallhanging in a book from Tone Finnager. I really love her stuff and I think this wallhanger for my current mags look way better than my old one from plastic!

As I mentioned yesterday I did another LO for our wedding-album. I just took the pics and decide spontanously what to do. I really like how it looks in the end. :o)

I guess I need to buy an album for our wedding-LOs! Right now I put all my LOs on my cabinet. This isn´t the perfect place for them I guess! ;o) The problem is that I didn´t saw a album I like so far.

Yesterday I wanted to scrap again or stamp a little. But when I sat down I couldn´t do anything. :o( I hate that! I´m waiting the whole day to find the time to scrap and when the time is there I have no idea anymore and don´t feel like being creative anymore. :o( I guess I´m not the only person knowing this feeling! I think it´s time to reorganize and hopefully have a much more inspiring space when I´m done! ;o)

A zoo-visit

The weather was so sunny last sunday that Andi and I decided to go to the zoo. I really like the zoo here in Hamburg. It´s a private one and they try to make it the best for the animals. :o)

I took a lot of pics. Here are just a few of them:

Andi love to feed the elephants. But because of the cold weather they were inside where it´s not possible to give them something. But he feeds this little guy:

This cute babygiraffe was just born in January and her parents protected her from all the visitors!

I LOVE flamingos! Don´t ask me why! It´s just this way. Their color is so beautiful! I hope I could see some of them in Florida again that don´t life in a zoo! :o)

I did two more LOs lately. The first one I did for the organization-class again. I started with the pics this time.

After trying different ways to get a LO done I know which is the easiest way for me. I like to start with the story than choose the pic, design, products and tools (in this order). I´m curious to see what this means for my new scrap-space! :o)

The other LO I did was for a challenge at Scraplove. The challenge was to scrap a day in you life. Since I never get a complete day in my life detailed written down I decided to scrap something that´s on my list every day: my pills for my thyroid. :o)

The title is "Every day" and the journaling is about my need to take the pills and that it´s usual and improtant for me to take them.

I did another wedding-LO yeaterday. I couldn´t take a pic because it was too dark but I´ll hope to show it tonight! :o)

Organized scrapbooker

I started a new Big Picture-class in January. It´s about reorganizing your scrapplace. I really NEED to reorganize everything! My place isn´t inspiring and it´s not functional either. Every time I sit down I start searching for the stuff I want to use and sometimes I´m not even sure what I have.

That´s why I bought this book from Wendy Smedley and Aby Garvey last October.

I really love this book. But when it came I didn´t found the time to start organizing. Luckyly I found out about the new class at Big Picture where Wendy Smedley teaches the reorganization using this book!

Before we start grabbing in our stash we had to look about what inspires us and what motivates us. I really like this because everybody needs a differnent way to do their space so it´s inspring to her.

We should do a sign where everythings shown what motivates us NOW to scrap. Here´s mine:

I liked how it turns out. It´s made in a simple way because I´ll put it in my space and I don´t like stuff that´s too much, kwim?

Another thing we did was a inspiration-board. Here everything is shown that inspires me. There isn´t a lot on it now but I hope this will change soon!

I´m thinking about doing a binder with inspirational stuff too. But since I just did my scrap-planner for this year I think I´ll test and use this one first! :o)

To get a feeling what way we work we should do LOs with differnet approaches. This is the first one I did. I started with design. It´s a scraplift from a LO I saw from C.D. Muckosky. I LOVE her style but honestly I don´t think I´m that good at doing the same... But I tried it again and here´s what I did!

I would love to hear what you think about it! I´m not sure if I like it... So please be honest! ;o)

That second LO started with the story. I wrote the journaling a while ago. It´s all stuff that I´ve learned in life and don´t want to forget. :o) The title says: Enjoy life!

I´ll do some more "test"-LOs and see what way I love to work. And I need to do work on some more chapters in the book so I get caught up. Looks like we´ll start digging in the stuff next week and I need to be prepared! Luckyly there isn´t much planned for the weekend so I could do it! :o)

Last September I bought the fourth book from Lisa Bearnson. It´s filled with challenges and lots and lots of scrapbboking-ideas and examples for LOs. I really love this book.

Something special about Lisas books is that there is all you need to do a mini-album included. Last weekend I took the time and did this album. Almost anything is prepared. You "just" have to glue everything down and do the journaling. This mini-album is about "daring to be yourself". So the journaling is very personal and I ´will not share most of it here! ;o) But I can show some of the opposite sides that gives you an idea of what the book looks like. I added some stamps to make it more individual.

The frontpage just needed a pic of me! :o)

The pages are marked with tabs for each section of the book.

This is the first page. It describes in short words who I am today.

It was a lot of fun doing this album. I hope to do another one soon. I already have another one waiting for me! :o)

Last wednesday came some new Stampin Up!-stuff to play with! :o) I chose a scrapbooking-kit for LOs. I really love how all their stuff fits together and that it´s easy with Stampin´Up! to coordinate with the other stuff they have. Everything matches. It´s easy to do a LO with a kit because you don´t need to search your stuff and that´s something I love on some days! :o)

I did another wedding-LO! I guess it´s because I have more than 500 pics of our wedding and it´s hard to decide which ones to scrap. ;o) And those pics are a great memory for us too! I still love to be a newly-wed!!! :o)))

It´s a simple LO again but I think the pics along with the quote speak for themselves. And I didn´t add anymore journaling because I think a wedding-album doesn´t need that much journaling. There isn´t that much to tell and sooo many pics! :o)

As I said yesterday I did my first Valentines-card for this year. I plan to do some more and give them to family and friends. This will be the first time I´ll do this but I´m in the mood so I just do it! :o)

I started with the leftovers of my "Summer Girl"-LO and choose the stamp. It´s from Penny Black. But when I was finished coloring the image I decided to use another paper and another ribbon! That´s what happens to me often...

I´m sorry for the bad pic. I scanned the card but because of the knot it´s blurry on the left side. :( And the colors are fitting in real life too! I have problems taking photos because when I get home after work it´s already dark again (like in the morning when I leave). Maybe I should exchange all pics in spring when the daylight fits! *lol*

Tonight there is an Open Night hosted by Stampin´Up! Germany. I´ll go there with some friends and I´m curious to see what´s waiting for us! I´ll tell you! :o)

While I still wait for snow I found this pic of my niece yesterday. It´s so cute and one of Andis favorites! She looks so happy laying in the grass while the sun shines!
When I saw the new American Crafts-ribbon we just got for the Stempelzoo I couldn´t resit doing a LO.

The Stampin´Up-Workshop was canceled spontanously. I was very sorry but I had a great afternoon with my friend Nadine instead! :o)

Before I got to her, I went to a small german stamping-shop near by. There was an advertisment that all chrsitmas-stamps were on a 50% discount. I *needed* to check it out! ;o) I got two cool new stamps on sale (and some more stuff ;o) )! *woohoo* I needed to use the first stamp (from High Hopes) immidiatly and did this card on sunday:

Mini-Gablebox

At the Stampin´Up-workshop tomorrow I want to do a Make & Take again. I decided to make a little stamped gablebox. I think those boxes are really cute and a great way to wrap small gifts (like candy, embellishments or jewelery *lol*).

Yesterday I went to my sewing-class again. I hadn´t been there in december but now we are back on track and sew every thursday again. I finished an Amy Butler-bag I started in november. I did a bag with this pattern before but I wanted to give it another try because to top of the back wasn´t the way I wanted it.

I really love the stuff Amy Butler does! I would have loved to use one of her cool fabric too. But I couldn´t get some in time for a good price. So I used some patchwork-fabric and I think it works well! :o)

Now I need to decide what I´m going to sew next. I have no idea but I´m thinking about something for home-dekor. I´ll see! ;o)

New Stampin´Up!-stuff

I´ll do another Stampin´Up-workshop next weekend. So I decided to do some more examples. The last ones I did where for christmas and I guess christmas isn´t that stuff the guests wanna see now! *lol*

I did two cards and a LO. I had some problems when I started so I surfed the www first for some ideas. Fortunalty I found some and did this card with the "simply said"-stamps first:

I saw a card like this on the net but didn´t remember where. :o(

When I was finished I thought about useing the "office"-stamps next. I always wanted to do a card with them. I guess it´s something differnet to those cards I usually do again! I still need to try new stuff!

I used the spiral-punch here for the first time too! I didn´t know why it took so long. I really love it and have it for some time now. The tab-punch I used more often... And I´m sure it´s the first time I used the colorcombination lightblue/ochre. I think it works! ;o)

The last thing I did was this LO:

It was the first time I stamped so much on a LO. It was fun and I think I should do this more often. This way I don´t have to decide if I´m going to stamp or scrap too! *lol*

I hope my friend that hosts the workshop and her guests will like my stuff!

Nonsense

At Scraplove each week there is a challenge from Elsie Flannigans "52 challenges". I always wanted to do one of this challenges but almost never did it. This week they announced that there is a contest and with each week you join you´ll get points. The person with most points in June will get a price. I love contests so I thought that maybe this will get me going.

When I saw this weeks challenge I imidiatly knew which picture I could use and what I´m going to do. The challenge was to use one (or more) of your silly pics. So I started right away scrapping this pic.

I love this pic of Andi. I know most of the people just like eating their cottoncandy (like I do!!!) but this day Andi enjoys to make silly stuff with it. The jornaling reads: You are always good for a joke and love to make me laugh! (Title: nonsense) Andis humor is one of the reasons why I love him so much!

I finally got an order from the States this week. It was some Scrap-stuff and there were some more stickles inside! Did I mention that I LOVE stickles??? I got six more colors so now I have twelfe but I still have some more on my wishlist. *rofl* Wanna see them?

So maybe there´s a lot of glitter on my stuff from now on! ;o)

I finished a new LO today. It´s another one for our wedding-album. I love this pic of my mom and me. That´s why it´s on of the first pics I scrapped.

I used a High Hopes-image that I got from Katharina. I really like High Hopes-stamps but right now I´ve decided not to go shopping. I still have so many new stamps that I´ve never used and I´ll spend my money. We are going to the States in the end of April and I guess I could use my money there! ;o)

There´s a third challenge-blog I would like to do this week too. I guess I´m addicted! But I´m not sure if I´ll do it tonight. Maybe I´m going to scrap. And I just started a new class at Big Picture Scrapbooking and there´s some homework to do. I´ll tell you more about it when I´ve done something I could show you! ;o)

Weekend-cards

I promised to show the other cards I did last weekend. So here they are.

First I wanted to do a card for a snowflake-swap I joined. I started but never was satisfied and didn´t feel any creative juices floating. It took HOURS before I got something done. :o( I hate it when this happens! But with the help of some stamping-friends I finally did my card:

Unfortunaltly the colours look way different on the scan than they are in real life. Tildas dress is purple and the whole image is coloured! And the card isn´t that brownish. It´s purple! I´ll see if I could take a better pic later...

After this card I wanted to try the Spellbinders I got for christmas. I used my favorite Elzybells again because the Elzybells caused my wish for those shapes! ;o)

There is some glitter on the snowflakes but it isn´t possible to see them on the scan. Maybe I should take pics with my cam and don´t scan them...

The last card was done on sunday. My sister Carola brought her latest Paper Crafts-mag with her when she came over. I really LOVE that mag but unfortunatly my subscription wasn´t renewed first so I´ll miss some issues. But I´ll get it again soon I hope! :o)

There was one card I liked so much and I lifted it imidiatly! I know it looks different now but the sketch is almost the same. ;o)

I used wintercolours because I´m still waiting for snow! I haven´t seen any this winter so far but I would love to!

I´ll plan to be creative again tonight. A friend of mine (JayJay) told me about another new challenge-blog and I think I´ll give it a try too. There are a few more projects on my mind so I just hope that I will not waste my time again like I did last saturday!

New cards

I can´t believe the weekend is already over! It was way to short! So it´s Monday again and I had to stand up early to go to work. But I was creative this weekend again. I wanted to do a lot of new stuff but unfortunatly my creative mojo was lost for some time. So I didn´t do that much. :o( But never the less I could share two new cards today. I did some more but didn´t take pics so far. I´ll share them later.

The first card I did for a snowman-swap. I wanted to do a round card for a while now and I wanted to do a wintercard without the typical soft blue I´ll use most of the times. So here´s what I come up with:

I used Stickles again to make the glitter. I LOVE stickles! :o)

I still love to try something new. That´s why I imidiatly like the Thomas Kinkade-stamps. :o) It´s something different! I like his pics a lot - even if they are VERY romantic! Hey, I´m a newly wed! *lol*

I used my Stampin Up!-stuff to do the card. I like the coordinated stamppads and cardstocks. I used "old olive" here and just mixed it with white.

My scrap-planner 2008

I saw some great scrapbooking-planners in the lastest edition of Creating Keepsakes-magazine. As soon as I saw them I knew I wanted to have one. :o) And the best part was that it is possible to download some beautiful planner-pages from their webside!

Last wednesday I read on Scrapfreak about the blog from Brenda Arnall. She felt the same way about the planner like I did. But she does something more! She created a planner of her own and designed calendar-pages, a starting page and a "remember"-page in the same style Creating Keepsakes did their pages. That is soooo cool! She also made it possible to download her pages for free! Thanks so much! :o)

So I started to work on my planner as soon as I was home! And this is what I did:

I really like how it turns out! :o) And it was a possibility to use my Bind-it-all again. I really LOVE this tool! It´s so easy to use and you can do so many fun things with it!

I hope everybody had great holidays! Mine were very quiet but nice with my family for christmas eve and Andis family for christmas. New Years Eve I celebrated with some friends and it was a lot of fun! :o)

I didn´t update this blog lately but I´ve been creative! I finally did the first LOs for our wedding album. The first LO is about the dream that came true with our marrige.

I used the same stuff I did the invitations with. We decided to do the wedding-album in black, pink and brown. I think this fits and those are my favorite colors. :o)

The next LO is about that sometimes Andi is more important in our relationship and somethimes it´s me. But together we could do it all!

I made some new years resolutions. One is to do more cards in advance so I don´t need to do cards in a hurry or under pressure when somebody should get a card. So I sat down on the last day of 2007 and created this box for the cards I´m going to make:

The complete box is done with Stampin Up!-stuff. I already liked their papers and stamps but now I can say I love their great chipboard too! :o)

Yesterday I did some changes with the calenders for my office. Those calendars had big advertisement on it when I recieved them. I want my office to become a little nicer so I covered it.

Our wedding

Thanks for all the nice comments on my last entry and all the congarts!!! I promised a longer report of our weeding so here it is! :o)

The day started earliy at 5 a.m. because my sister Carola picked me up at 6 a.m. to go to the hairdresser with me. The make up was made there too so I don´t need to do any of it by myself. I don´t have "long" hair but my hairdresser decided that it´s long enough to get it up. That was really a hard job but I think she did great. Wanna see me while the hair is done? Here´s something to laugh:

My parents picked me up there to bring me to the castle where the ceremony was held. I already wore my dress and everything was done. Andi came with his family.

The ceremony was beautiful (and sometimes funny) and we enjoyed every minute!

When the offical part was done (said yes, exchanged rings...) we were allowed to kiss as a married couple for the first time:

I was sooo happy (and I still am!)!!!

When my mom came to say congrats she said some really sweet words and wished us all the best. I couldn´t hold it anymore and started crying. It was just a short moment and I guess helping to stop this was the flashlights from almost everywhere because everybody wanted this photographed! ;o)

When we got outside two colleguages of Andi waited for us just to give us a little present. Isn´t that great? He had his last day with them two days ago and started a new job this week so we thought this was really nice!

Our families went to our home to start celebrating while we did a lot of pics with the photographer in the park of the castle. I can´t wait to see those pics! He told us he did more than 400 takes! As soon as I get them I´ll show you! :o)

When we got home a little later, there were a lot of presents waiting for us but first we get a little champagne! ;o) We got wonderful presents and were surprised how many people had thought about us on this special day! THANKS to everybody!!!

One thing we got from my paprents and my sister was the weddingcake. We didn´t plan something like that because we thought noboby would love to eat cake in the morning (it was 10:30 a.m.!). But we were wrong and absolutly happy that we got the cake! And it was sooo yummy!!! My mom was the one that decided we *need* a cake! Thanks Mom!

At noon we went to a steak-house so everybody got something to eat! ;o) The restaurant we choose was in a very old house. It´s the oldest restaurant Hamburg has and for quiete a quile it´s this steak-house now. But before we got there the only thing happend that wasn´t great: Andis family had a car-accident on the way there. :o( Fortunatly noboby was hurt! Just cars were damaged. This is something that we wouldn´t like to happen but I´ve heard that there is something bad happening every time at every wedding so here´s our part! ;o)

It really was an awesome day and we enjoyed it a lot! I´m still happy everytime I think about this day and that I´m a married woman now! :o)

While our guest need a break after dinner I take the time for a short report! :o)

First: we had an awesome wedding that was much better than we could have dreamed about! :o) Everybody was great and the weather was georgeous too!

It´ll take some time before we´ll get the offical photos but here are some short snapshots.

More christmas-cards

As I wrote yesterday I made some more cards last weekend. The first thing I needed to use was my new stampingbella. It was a gift from my sister.

Then I did some more card with my Elzybells. I really LOVE them! :o) When I saw Carolas Quickutz-shape with a label with doodles I knew I wanted to use it. Unfortunatly the stamp was to big for the label. So I needed to cut it. But I think it´s ok and I like the result! :o)

When I did the last card it was already late and I was tiered. So I Guess this stamp fits! ;o)

Last friday I "celebrated" my last days of being not married with my friends Nicole, JayJay, Sanne and my sister Carola. They know that I don´t like to go out and have lots of drinks and a stripper or do "funny" games. So they decided to go to a Build-a-bear with me first.

Some people may think this is childish but we had so much fun! And we all love teddybears! ;o) Nicole and I did a reindeer-lady. Aren´t they cute?

After this we went to the Alster. There was a christmas-market called "Winterzauber" ("Wintermagic"). We drank some warm drinks there before we went to a steakhouse where we spent the rest of the evening. *yummy* It was so much fun and I could only thank my friends for such a great evening! It was so much fun that I thought about not getting married.But no: I´ll do it! ;o)

On saturday I did some new cards but didn´t find the time to take pics of them. I will do this today and show them later!
